Circa 1969, 18k, by Tessier, London.  This charming Chanticleer pin is beautifully figured, well-sized, and finely fabricated. Set with a ruby eye and accented with bright red enamel, the look is smart town and country. Chic! Excellent condition.

Designed by Tessier in London for the crew of the nuclear submarine Valliant to be gifted to Queen Elizabeth commemorating her visit and inspection of the boat. This example is a second identical piece made for the wife of one of the officers.
