Inv. #25340
#25340 - Pomellato Gold Necklace 18k
SOLD
Circa 1990s, 18k, by Pomellato, Italy. Pomellato is one of my favorite companies. Established in Milan in the late sixties, their approach to jewelry design often combines the essence of medieval and renaissance motifs with contemporary fashion. This 24-inch long necklace has a modernist feel softened by Old World handwork. The all-gold look is one of Pomellato's strong suits and the complex double links have an organic vibe that satisfies the visual and tactile senses. Excellent condition.
Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: “Pomellato designs have energy and originality that is visually refreshing, an effortless chic that requires no artifice.”
Condition: Excellent condition.
Weight: 98.4 g
Hallmarks: Pomellato, 750 for 18k, and Italian registration number
Measurements: 24 inches long
