Inv. #23783
#23783 - Gothic Revival Gold Locket 18k c1880s
Price: $4,800.00
Circa 1880s, 18k. This mysterious antique locket features an elaborate Gothic hinge, a stunning functional decoration. It is as though a secret or a precious is locked inside. The ideal place for pictures, the interior folds outward to hold five. The visual contrast of the warmer pink gold hinge against the yellow 18k body completes the look. One more secret … the hinge is a hidden Fleur-de-Lis so it is most likely French with the hallmarks lost to time! Excellent condition.

Noted: Chain shown is a separate item.
Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: “Always in style, lockets are perfect for today's gamine Victorian revival styles; think "The Vampires Wife or the deconstructed 19th-century looks of Alexander McQueen.”
Condition: Excellent condition.

Hallmarks: None, tested 18k
