Estate Jewelry. Circa 1920s, Kewa or Santo Domingo Pueblo. From found materials, American. This wearable piece of American history tells an amazing story; crafted during the depression when impoverished Native American artists could not afford silver or stones. They continued to create by using upcycled materials from available sources. This chic necklace is part of the American fashion narrative. It has an authentic look that will lend a cool truth to any stylish moment.

Note: In the period this necklace was made, the Kewa Pueblo was known as the Santa Domingo Pueblo.
