Estate Jewelry. Circa 1910-20s,18k, possibly Italian. This wonderful 18k ring was made in the early 20th century. Set with a carved carnelian that is earlier, probably mid-Victorian, the face is that of an elemental Roman deity. Mixing and matching metaphors the creator has paired Georgian style gold work with an Archeological motif carving, the result is as chic today as it was a hundred years ago. Excellent condition.
