Estate Jewelry. Circa 1920s, 18k, Swiss. This period twenties ring features the graceful simplicity of the Art Decoratifs. The ornamentation is contained within the architecture of the form -- a band surmounted by a flat octagonal stone in a matching octagonal gold frame, embraced by a scroll on each side. As you look into the stone the cut mirrors the framing, drawing your gaze downward. The stone is a lovely color and the fabrication is meticulous. Excellent condition with very minor scuffing to stone.
