Estate Jewelry. Circa 1920s, Platinum, American. This stunning Art Deco ring juxtaposes a gentle geometry of sapphire and diamond with an under gallery of arches and curves reminiscent of the Chrysler building sitting in a shank set with diamonds on three sides. Stylistically, it is superb. The main .80 carat stone is very white and sparkly (G color and VS clarity) with .30 carats of accent diamonds and .20 carats of sapphire. The fabrication was meticulously done by hand with quality used throughout. Excellent condition.
